Came here for the first time this evening having lived in Penzance for 10 years…(and didn’t even know it existed) WOW - What Fantastic Fish and chips!
Crunchy batter, really fresh fish- cooked to perfection, chips were tasty and freshly cooked and not at all greasy.
Can’t recommend this establishment enough.

Absolutely love this!!! Can't describe how nice they do this, small fish and chips only £7 and it fills me to the brim with delight and wonder. Can't believe how cheap it is, filled my stomach. Just delicious. Nothing beats eating fish and chips on the way down to watch the beautiful sunset of penzance!

This is an exceptionally good chip shop. It clearly mainly serves a very local, loyal clientele, who were all on very good terms with the owners - but everyone was very friendly to us. Fish was great, and chips done to perfection. I'd definitely want to go again when next in penzance. A bit of a wait, because they were very busy, but well worth it
Cooked fresh to order, batter was spot on and curry sauce was great. Chips unfortunately were slightly undercooked.

Don’t really understand some of the comments about service. It’s a local chippy, not a 5 star restaurant.
The price isn't properly shown just enough scribbled on a chalk board not easy to read so I didn't realise it's was £11.20 for fish and chips large but didn't seem that large it was extremely tasty all cooked well food wise can't complain but Lewis in Newlyn is better and cheaper ...also cash only and woman behind counter is not very friendly at all for this reason I wouldn't return expensive and feels only welcome to locals
