Food far too greasey, portions massive. Ordered 2 haddock 1 cod, 3 chips. Didn't taste of anything ???? chips brown, did hear guy use a microwave at one point ????
used to be a good chippy but now the chips are hard and the haddock has very little flavour
Nice chips, fish slightly greasy & didn't have much flavour but all in all not bad at all. So far best chippy we've tried in Boston.

Chips are re-cooked /heated (as they were only just warm after the 2 min drive home… Fish is thin. And more batter than fish ..
hubby went for a large fish and small chips for us to share … was told (again… (been here a few times) that he’s only got small pieces … but wouldn’t charge us any extra) And he only does Med & large chips … never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. Cost us £17+. … yea 17 quid… even Robin Hood wore a mask when he robbed people …. Not going there again. Just about had it with the man…
ps. I won’t go in there due to his inappropriate behaviour.. Hence hubby fetching them…

Just had our first fish n chips from Butterwick chippy and was amazing. Fish was so huge it hung off the plate, chips were perfect. Really good and this is now the only place we will come to. Highly recommended.
Fish and chips are always great with a good sized fish and loads of chips.
Really liked it before but this time the chips were brown and tasted burnt and the 2 sausages were burnt on the outside had no batter and were cold and tasted liked they had been re cooked again.
Plus the man keeps touching women and makes very suggestive comments. My wife doesn't want to go back there again and it's got beyond a joke.
