The perfect place to watch a sunset. Plenty of parking, a steep (ish) climb but so worth it. Amazing views
This was a lovely little place, well worth pulling over for a look. A very short walk up a hill and you have great views in every direction. The old ruin on the top of the hill was quite impressive and well maintained. There was free parking at the bottom with an information sign. Parking for around twenty cars.
Awesome place to park up the van and walk. Stunning views all round
This is free to enter. Car Park would hold around 15 cars. Very steep climb to the top. On a good day, views would be amazing.
I saw this place when passing on a work journey once. Never knew of it 'til then. Made a note to return and see it. Worth the visit. Super amazing view all round. Panoramic 360 degree views. Sheep in the fields. The Somerset Levels were sodden, giving some idea what it might have been like previously, before the levels were drained.
Great place for a picnic on a nice day. Could spend hours up there, just relaxing, reading. Take a thermos of coffee.
Go and enjoy it.
National Trust looks after it, but it's free to go up. Bit steep, but it's a hill.
It's free to enter, there's an honesty box to donate for car park.
Tip, wear good fitting footwear, the climb is quite steep, if it's been raining be very careful as coming back down is slippery.
Great views from the top
Spectacular views even on a blustery day. Slippery path up though and very muddy.
Burrow Mump I'd a very special sacred site it has the most amazing peaceful energy with a 360degrrr view. Quite steep to walk down. Well worth a visit.
