I’m very disappointed with this place! Especially after reading the reviews I was expecting at least a decent burrito and quesadilla. Instead got the worst attempt at Mexican food I’ve ever had. The quesadilla I ordered specifically said it has shrimp pico and chipotle sauce, instead it was a ton of cheese in a quesadilla with a few shrimp on one side and literally one on the other. Secondly I ordered the prawn burrito which was mostly dry white rice (zero pico or any other trimming) at £15.50 per burrito. This is just dishonesty I’m sorry especially as a halal business it’s totally not ok. The photos speak for themselves.
Yuck! Avoid. New owner has tanked this place. God, the blandest burrito I’ve ever had in my life. The taste of chicken only and barely anything else. What a crime- no flavour at all. No love - still as expensive as it used to be. Just pretty trash - there’s lots of great food in the area - do not go here. Used to be amazing with the previous owner, he put so much time and effort into his recipes.
The best prawn tacos, chicken quesadillas and chicken burritos I have had in Europe, easily in London! The food is out of this world: flavourful, perfectly spiced, majestically marinated! Not only is the food incredible, Nico is a fantastic chef: hospitable and warm. Thank you Nico! Will definitely be seeing you soon!
I lived in the US for a year and have had Mexican food all over the states and all over Mexico. Burrito Bandido does the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, by far. The prawn tacos and chicken quesadillas are my favourite, but everything is amazing. Nico is a magician!
Terrible. It seems there’s a new owner and the difference in quality is night and day. These used to be the best tacos we’ve had in London. Huge portions, beautiful flavours, great corn tortillas. Most recent order the tacos were miniscule, half-burnt flour tortillas despite still saying corn on the menu, zero flavour, nachos covered in plastic cheese. Almost impressive how bad it’s gotten so quickly.
I had been coming to this restaurant for 3 years but have not been for a few months. arrived today and there was a new person running the establishment who was polite. We ordered one chicken burrito and one beef burrito. The reason I have come here for so long is the flavours and salsas were incredible and had a nice kick. What we received today with one mild and one medium salsa burrito was shocking in comparison and completely flavourless. I'm very disappointed that this restaurant has dropped its standards hugely with the new ownership.
Ate here twice about 5 months apart .
Both times food has been trash would not recommend. Honestly some of the worst burritos I've ever had.
The junction market never fails to dissapoint! I had an amazing burrito! Service and friendliness was on point to. :)
