I arrived at the pharmacy at 8.30am to find the shutters down and it was closed. When the practice finally opened I was told that the pharmacist was unavailable and I should wait to receive my prescription. 15mins later I was running late for work and advised the lady that I can pay now. I was then given this response. ‘ I assumed you were receiving free prescriptions so I thought you needed a pharmacist to sign that off, sorry about that’ I’m not sure why I gave her that assumption maybe the way I was dressed or the colour of my skin?!! Not using them again.
Very happy with Katie today, mum needed to sort out prescriptions & a years subscription, she had the medication made up ready & filled in the form etc, explained everything we needed to know & do for future repeat prescriptions
Nothing was too much & she was very polite & happy throughout. Thankyou Katie ????
Google need to have option for 0 star rating. I'm sorry but these guys deserve 0. Appalling service they seem like lost souls. Every time I get a prescription here I have to wait longer to get my medicine than to even see my doctor nowadays. I thought I would give this place the benefit of doubt but the 2nd and 3rd time here and nothing changes. You get a miserable lady at the desk, the gentleman that pops out time to time is a little more cheerful. This pharmacy doesn't even take card payments (cash only ????)apparently there Pqd machine has been down for "3 months," and how is that even possible. Pack of lies if you ask me. This pharmacy is only still open due to the fact they are next door to the doctors otherwise it would have closed ages ago due appalling service overall.
I would give zero stars if I could. Polite but incompetent. I don’t know what it is, if it’s miscommunication with the Burlington surgery people or the pharmacy people losing stuff. There has never been a time for me when a medicine transaction has gone smoothly. Even if phoned in advanced to save wasted trips, the request for medicine is either lost, or an error in the “electronic transaction” or some blah blah in the system. I can’t believe they can’t accidently get it right for once! My children have missed antibiotic doses because of their incompetence. I mean to switch everyone over to Asda pharmacy but the one or two children I have linked to this diabolical pharmacy always make it a mission or a quest in getting the medicine. How can you have so many problems with the surgery being just next door??? Please see the urgency in people not getting their meds on time. It’s awful for us to have to wait for you to fix your blunders and 3-4 working days is a lot to go without medicine, it’s brutal.
Long way out of town no.parking at all and poor reception skills take forever to answer a phone very poor service in some areas
Not very large, old shcool building, parking at the rear, almost always hard to find a space for a car. Make sure give plenty of time in case you need to find parking elsewhere. Has a pharmacy downstairs.
I have just removed a previous made review where I gave 1 star. Having found out the pharmacy was NOT at fault but it was actually the receptionist at doctors passing the buck. Thank you for all your additional help regarding my medication and delivering... even though I wasn’t on the list for home delivery. Huge apologies to all staff for my numerous phone calls. I was treated with respect and politeness every time. Well done for dealing with this very difficult customer.
I recently changed to a GP surgery in the area, and was delighted to be able to come and collect my prescription from this small local pharmacy. I arrived mid-afternoon and was greeted with a friendly smile (I assume - masks make it hard to tell but there was definite eye crinkling) by a very helpful member of staff, who took my details and invited me to take a seat. The seat in question was a quaint wooden corner bench attached to the wall by the door which, while it would have benefited from some cushioning, was comfortable and close to the door, providing some fresh air. I didn't have to wait long, and was issued my prescription with another smile (I think!) by another member of staff and was on my way.
