This shop is the best thing about living in castle acre! The staff are the kindest, friendliest and most helpful people ever. They sell everything you need and even offer a delivery service now. As an extra bonus they have a tiny bar selling a cold pint on tap, what's not to love! The shop is an absolute lifeline for me as a local and an absolute go to visitors. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
The first time I have been to Castle Acre Budgens, Post Office & Chip shop. What a brilliant place. Rash and his family were so warm and welcoming.

Lovely village shop, so friendly. They also have beers and Prosecco on tap! perfect if you want to come and watch cricket on the green opposite. Also, the fish and chip shop next door is best in the area! hands down.
Such a brilliant village shop. Always greeted by the owner and he’s always happy to help. I recently brought some of their new range of COOK frozen meals and they are lovely!

Good stock of fresh produce and above all a choice of Norfolk cheeses which are strangely difficult to find and we love.
This is not my local but I wish it was. However, we still shop here often enough for all the reasons above.
One of the best local shops around, the opening times are long, especially handy for Sundays. Staff members are all very friendly and even go above and beyond to help. There is a good stock of pretty much all essential items you require. Plenty of space to move around with a pushchair or wheelchair. Post office is on site, I travel to this post office from my village one as they are more helpful. All in all an excellent shop. :)
