Picturesque spot to explore. Took a walk by the river, followed by a 30min boat tour.
A couple of the old cottages are open to view.
Unless you want to enter the small museum, all you pay for is the parking and boat trip, if you choose to take it.

Beautiful, serene, great place to kayak or paddleboard. Lovely place for a picnic or pub lunch. Great drive through the new forest to arrive here too. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of my visit on Saturday
Went for a Wild New Forest Boat Tour. Saw loads of different waders, and sea and estuary birds, some seals, and predator raptor birds flying above the tree line on the way back - Red Kites, Buzzard, and Goshawks. Highly recommended
