YES, adding this one to my very short list of amazing coffee shops, their Pakora burger (bagel)? today was fantastic, and their cinnamon buns are just great, and having been in Wheatley for a week on a short break, I have visited here on a number of occasions now, wonderful chatty but not over the top staff team!!
I will be back as often as I can!
This is the friendliest cafe, with the most down to earth and welcoming staff. Recently renovated to include indoor seating. The coffee is excellent and the sweet treats delicious. The menu for main food is small but mighty - I have been there several times and there are often specials on. Highly recommend if in Wheatley!
Out of this world bagel. Actually probably the best bagel I have ever had. The staff here are some of the friendliest I have met in Oxfordshire, they are helpful and so warm natured.
The food is stunning, I couldn't recommend it enough and it arrived at our table quickly despite the buzzing atmosphere.
Excellent music was playing in the background too, can't wait to visit my sister and return! 10/10
Best cafe in Oxfordshire, hands down! The coffee is perfection. The best bagels / sandwiches you will ever eat, scotch eggs so good you’ll swear you’ve never had one before in your life.. a carefully curated selection of sweet treats and pastries from the heavy hitters of the Oxfordshire pastry scene. And the new inside seating is just so warm and welcoming. The staff are genuinely happy to see you, no matter how busy they get. It’s just all you’d ever want in a cafe. Don’t miss it if you’re near this neck of the woods !
For me, the best thing about living in Wheatley. My wife and I always look forward to our next visit... which is never far away!
Wonderful coffee and tasty shakes. Fantastic food, including amazing burgers and Louis' signature homemade Cinnamon Buns and Pecan Mess. A good supply of craft ales and fine wines. And - most importantly - friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff.
Overall, great value for money and where a queue is simply a sign of a very popular little café at the heart of the village.
What a lovely spot for coffee, food and a relaxing time out in this pretty Oxfordshire village! We had coffees, cakes and an unusual Mexican twist on a egg and bacon breakfast bun- delicious! Welcoming, friendly and highly attentive staff happy to help and give recommendations on their menu. It has been going through an extension/re-furb - has a stylish modern rustic/industrial decor interior. Nice going -big thanks to Clarie and Louie!
Awesome coffee shop. Specialty coffee made by baristas who really know their stuff, whether espresso or filter. Super tasty hot food, great cakes/pastries, always a friendly welcome, and a relaxed vibe. Now with indoor seating.
