Fantastic pub. With a great choice of ales, lagers and ciders.
Local pub call in now and then good beer selection (John Smith's good pint) friendly staff and customers would recommend a visit anytime ????
Great place to meet friends for a quiet drink. There's a small step up to the front door, a nice area around the back, and the place is nice and clean. The new barmaid is doing food now. Thursday between 12:30 and 14:30 there's a cooked dinner for £4.99 and cobs with various fillings are available throughout the day. The place has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and it's a pleasure to go there.
Update: grab rails have been fitted to one of the ladies' toilets.
Had a nice well kept pint of Barnsley bitter here. Bar staff were great at doing table service outside, never had to wait long for someone to appear and take your order. Great beer garden with plenty of space for kids to play. Friendly atmosphere.
