A great chippy, I tried rock (bull huss) for the first time and definitely going to have to get it again, everyone loved there meals, very tasty cooked fresh everyone was very chatty and helpful, they even had pictures of the fish that you were going to eat!
Unfortunately we couldn't eat any of the fish. The fish was bland and greasy and had a funny taste. The workers were blunt and rude when we was asking questions. Wouldn't go again. I personally think they should state if they are going to leave the skin on the fish too. Chips were also cold, and we were only round the corner. Mushy peas was nice though and so was the chicken nuggets. This might of been a off day for them but unfortunately it wasn't a good first experience for us.
Called at lunchtime today at this busy, clean and tidy establishment.
Although not on the menu I ordered a couple of fish sandwiches. The fish was delicious, thick meaty flakes in a light batter and cooked to perfection. The kind staff threw us a handful of chips in each tray.
Highly recommended.
The staff or owners are nice. Unfortunately the fish and chips was not. Probably the worst fish and chips I have had in the UK. The smell from the oil was not okay, don't know why. Kids portions was good, but adult not so much. I did regret buying from here.
We went to brilliant gosh and chips while on holiday. The staff were really friendly and the food was reasonably priced. The place was busy but it wasn’t too long a wait.
The food was tasty and hot. Not the best gosh and chips we have ever had but not far off it. Would definitely recommend.
These are really brilliant fish & chips, very tasty!! Friendly staff, we felt totally spoilt. Lovely people who know how to look after their customers.
You won't be disappointed!
The best fish and chips I've had in a very long while, there is a wait due to the high demand, the wait is well worth it. If you ever in the Caister area give them a try you won't be disappointed.
