Absolutely delicious freshly cooked fish chips & peas with a cup of tea . There’s a choice of sauces.. like curry sauce.. next time. All freshly made, tea bag in boiling water and a jug of milk.
They do their best and were very busy.
I think an extra member of staff to serve would have helped.. there were 2 people who were serving both takeaway and dine in.I was sat waiting a while to have my order taken… was a little unsure what the procedure is.
The restaurant area was pleasantly decorated and furnished.
I would definitely eat in again. The food was so worth the wait.
I'm a regular in here as often as I can. Best Fish and Chip shop in Ramsbottom.
Good value for money with Fish, Chips, Peas bread and butter with tea/coffee for £10, eat in price. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. I miss the beef dripping that used to be on the meals however apart from that excellent food and I would definitely recommend the place.
Attended early lunch time today as quite a large family, we were a little worried about feeling in the way however given the warm welcome we received then the great service following this worry was gone in no time. The staff were attentive to both children and adults. The food was also absolutely brilliant. Well done guys
Very impressed with this chippy. There is seating in the back and the staff are quick to serve and very friendly. They do a couple of meal deals that are really good value for money. I had steak & kidney pudding with chips and gravy. OH had fish, chips and mushy peas. He's fussy about mushy peas and he said these were lovely. Portions were big and the food was fresh. Would go back to Ramsbottom just to visit here. A++++
First visit and it's nice. A little dining area at the rear of the chippy. Nice owner. I'd recommend it for a bite to eat if you are in the area.
Called in yesterday and had the fish & chip £10 meal deal, it was superb. Service was fab....only downfall was no music in background to set the mood for fine dining. Thanks again
The best option of chips I've had for a long time. Fresh, hot and with a crunch.
They also have a small seating area/cafe round the back.
