The food was freshly cooked but even so was not that great. The haddock was very dry so has been frozen for a while and not fresh. The chips were way overcooked and greasy and the cod roe was like mush and not firm as though it had been stood about a bit. The 2 jumbo sausages were well cooked but quote a cheap make so 3 is average and this place was average at best. I have had far fresher and better fish and chips and half the chips were put in the bin.
We ordered fish & chips and pie & chips.
Fish was freshly cooked while we waited.
Had to wait about 10 minutes (3 other people in front of us)
Staffed were friendly and polite, the food was amazing.

Sorry we've used this chippy for years, the fish and chips are the worst we've had for £9 pounds not good, must say in the past they've been good Sorry
On holiday in the area and the shop was closed. Despite Google maps saying it was open. Woukd suggest changing this as we went 7 miles out of our way to another shop
One of the nicest fish and chips in years. On holiday but decided to try a local all year around one. Will now use regular when we're away.
Haddock was cooked and left to stand in the heater display for more than the twenty minutes I stood waiting so was severely overcooked. There were 2 people in the queue when I entered.
The chips and peas were fairly average so I'll go elsewhere next time.
Had to wait for just chips, OK but not best and expensive !!
