Best KPortal Reviews
If you're looking for a plateful of well cooked food, then here is a good place to start.
Situated inside the Bridge shopping centre, it offers a large covered seating area and a comprehensive menu.
Prices are low, but the quality of products is not the best. It is, however, very well cooked and served piping hot to your table.
The staff are very friendly and ready to help in any way to create a pleasant and tasty dining experience.
They say you should never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach, and this cafe hammers that home. One of the many breakfasts on offer before shopping will definitely save you from filling your basket with sugar and snacks and save you well over the price of your breakfast... and your wasteline...
I almost never write reviews, but this time is an exception. And here's why. I was here today. I ordered a ham salad. They brought me chopped vegetables without dressing or even salt,(with a strange taste)and several slices of ham on top.It cost 4.50.If I owned a cafe, I would be ashamed if I served this to a person.
What an absolutely joy to be served by someone so friendly and lovely; so many places lack staff who understand it's all about the customer these days - the Bridge Café is not one of them. We were served by a lovely lady who was very much customer oriented. I only wish she was working in some more local to myself.
We had a couple of cup cakes which were delicious; the sponge moist, the topping tasty. A plain white coffee and cappuccino washed the cakes down. The drinks were hot (again, quite unusual these days) and the coffee was good. If I find myself in Fratton again I'll definitely be going back.
paid 29£ for 2 full breakfast and it was no where that value. tomatos were tinned, nothing had flavour, it felt like ibwas eating rubber. weatherspoons is accross the road and for literally half price you eat better and more…
Absolutely shocking, drove all the way from Southampton for my order to be wrong twice, and my sons order was missing his toast, I got my money back and left, worst cafe I’ve ever been too in all my 29 years!
Food was wrong and cutlery was absolute filthy animals must work in the kitchen poor service wasn’t even busy and they still got it wrong
Very good food and staff very friendly good value for money
Got fish and chips. The chips were ok but fish was terrible. It was one of those mixed fish in a cheap batter that you cook in the oven except this was fried so batter was hard and very greasy. Won't order that again. On plus side, staff are friendly.
