Awesome shop,even had a hacksaw for sale that I needed!! Food is good quality and not too expensive. Staff polite and friendly. Love walking down to here when visiting my wife's nan for the daily paper!! Lovely ice cream as well!!!
Nice selection of bread, cakes and locally produced food BUT why is their milk so expensive compared with other local Spar shops?
Stopped for an ice-cream. It was ok. Needed to use the toilet facility. Absolutely filthy and I couldn't risk picking up some sort of an infection using it. Noticed a baby changing table in the toilet, it would have to be the most unhygienic area to take a baby. The management need to sit up and take notice and organise an hourly rota to clean the toilet area. There is a cafe on the premises but if the hygiene of the toilet is anything to go by, I would question the hygiene level in the cafe and the ice-cream counter.
Horrified that in the middle of a pandemic when I asked for a icecream with flake , the young man scooped it and stuck flake into icecream with his bare hands. Can I please remind you theres a virus lurking about and health and safety rules apply. I had to throw the whole thing in bin...not risking it!!! Child with me so didnt want to cause a fuss on a busy Sunday. Gloves should be worn when handling food!!!
Best ice cream I have had. There is only vanilla available, but quality over quantity! There is a deli counter available with a great selection of food and comfy seats
Price is a rip off - nice ice cream but not at the prices which are not displayed in the Dundrum branch.
Great ice cream just plain proper ice cream with loads of topping and sauce choices. We always stop here when going to Newcastle etc
I come here with the family for the Ice cream. Nice staff plenty of car spaces and wheelchair accessible
