Top marks...(Almost). The food is delicious and the service comes with a proper smile. They also cater for dogs which is really important to me. He has sausage and biscuits.
First visit to this lovely area after a walk in and around the Meon shore. Had a breakfast, first class ingredients in an attentive comfortable environment. Restaurant is split into areas, dog friendly in the front part. I thought it was good value for the quality of the food. Breakfast menu until 11.30 I think but a good varied menu otherwise. Will definitely return. Car parking at rear, said it was for the boozer opposite but don’t think it’s particularly monitored, otherwise on street parking too.
Just had a lunch break here with my Wife n Niece (she was asleep though!). I had the brunch with 2 of the biggest best sausages ever put on a breakfast! The cream tea was spot on and milkshakes amazing (try the Biscoff). The Afternoon teas looked really good someone next to us had ordered one. Dogs are allowed they even have a small food menu for them! Kitchen stops at 1400, but cakes are available through till 1600. With the tea party in Lee closed now this is a ideal alternative. Parking is for the pub opposite but plenty of space along the road.
Popular cafe with an intereting seasonal food menu. Best to reserve a table at the weekend as they fill up fast when they start serving lunch at 12:00.
Great little café, great menu and service, and staff all really friendly and helpful
A really lovely great to look at cafe, inside is quite unique, and you have space to move, not packed in like sardines. Menu good, varied, and reasonably priced. We had a seafood platter, ham egg (cooked to perfection) and chips, and a coronation jacket. Water was available. All the staff were friendly too. Only one toilet, but it was clean. Tables could have been cleaned between sittings a bit quicker, I would definitely visit again. Importantly the cafe allows dogs on a lead, so great if your on a coastal walk.
Great atmosphere and very tasty food. Portions were big enough
The first visit was lovely, tasty food and accomodating staff. However, I've been on 4 separate occasions since, during main lunch service times and they had stopped serving hot food each time for undisclosed reasons so the journey was wasted. I recommend trying to call ahead otherwise you'll probably be wasting your time, it's a nice enough place but I'm not rushing back for this reason.
