It's a good hike to get there, but when you do it's worth the effort for the view.
You can't get into the tower, there is a fan blowing hot air out of the tower, so whatever they have inside generates alot of heat.
Good on a cold day????
A lovely spot well worth the a visit.
Fabulous views from here...360 degrees. We had glorious fine weather (a little too hot !!) But could see this to be a bleak place in wet, windy weather. Not to many people so felt remote. Many options to get here from straight up scrambling up the step slopes to a more amble route through forests and nature reserve. Off to the south is Elmley Castle which is also worth a visit (but can be difficult to find the route).
Lovely walk through many crazy seasons April weather up Bredon Hill to the tower and Elephant Stone. Kids loved it although a biting wind and numerous hail showers made it interesting, and then back a slightly different way past a lovely barn in glorious sunshine. A good afternoons exercise and entertainment.
One of the best walks in Worcestershire. You can reach the tower from several directions but whichever way you go you'll get amazing panoramic views over several counties once you get to the tower. Kids will love the elephant stone too!
Quite a hike, (especially in motorcycle gear) but well worth it. Tower is not accessible. It gets quite windy at the top.
The views are absolutely fantastic with lovely walks .
Beautiful walk up the 300m elevation of Bredon hill to Bredon Tower.
At the top you are rewarded by fantastic views across Pershore, Worcester, Tewkesbury, etc
Spectacular views of the countryside and a great place for peace and quiet.
