Le brasseur est un passionné qui n'hésitera pas à vous parler de son métier. Possibilité de déguster. Produits artisanaux d'une qualité superieure. On adore l'originalité des noms et des étiquettes !
Brasserie du Dzo is located in the ground floor of a 3-story grey concrete building. Park anywhere along the side of the building. The large windows allow you to easily see the sizable brewery inside. The space has an industrial ambience with concrete and tile floor, white walls and fiber board ceiling. A large banner with the brewery name hangs from the ceiling. The brewery name is a shortened form of the owner / brewmaster’s family name, and the lamb logo is inspired by the family’s historic crest. The brewery does not have a bar or food service, but they are happy to host visitors for a brief sample and bottle sales. The brewery opened in early 2017 and the brewmaster had a precious history in beverage production. He is a very nice man, proud of his craft, generous, and happy to discuss the beers and brewery at length. On the right are midsize stainless steel brewing vessels and adjacent is a farm of several midsize stainless steel fermenters. Nearby are a couple barrels of aging beer. On the left is bottling equipment, and along the back wall are bags of malt. There are also stacks of kegs, brewing supplies, and pallets of bottles. The shape of the bottles is distinctive, like a champagne bottle, in large format size or cuter smaller bottles. For such a young brewery it is a fairly large investment, and the quality of the brews is good. My only wish is that the brewery had a formal tasting room to welcome more patrons, but perhaps that will come in time. My favorite was their very tasty seasonal Schwarzbier, and I also enjoyed their effervescent and crisp Belgian Double (7.1%). If you visit, I think you won’t be disappointed.
Patron passionné ! Bcp de détails et de théorie pour des non professionnels.a mon goût. Mais bières excellentes.
