Will never use this pharmacy again after my visit today! Absolutely vile staff who supposedly serve upfront. They wouldn’t know what customer service was if it was given in a handout to read as a script, even then it would likely be with no compassion and the snarky attitude you are met with. Called in today to pick up medication as recently diagnosed as diabetic, Drs had prescribed correct testing strips but the wrong needles for finger tip testing, only discovered when I had driven home and opened the bag, as well as missing repeat prescription. Drove back and the young girl I spoke with was the only person who was sympathetic! I explained I had the wrong needles but was told that as it was a BH weekend there was nothing they can do and as not on my repeats, I can’t be given the correct ones. The elder lady stated she thought it was odd they have prescribed those (but did nothing to query it!) and that I would have to call 111 despite me pleading to say I have no fingertip needles to test my levels. Also asked about my missing prescription to be told there is an issue with the manufacturer but there was no owing note in my bag. Told to wait for the owner, Richard, which I did. When he came out, he was rude and confrontational, the shop was busy, however, I had been in there before all the others had entered and had already been waiting. When I tried to explain what had happened, he rudely cut me off and said well your just going to have to wait as I have a shop full of people who need serving! They do not listen, there is no reasoning with them and as far as they are concerned the problem isn’t theirs so take it elsewhere! Absolute joke of a pharmacy! Changed to another the second I got home, have made a formal complaint through NHS England and will also be speaking with my GP on Monday. If you don’t want to be in the business of healthcare, then I suggest you sell up and do something else more suited to your attitudes!
Don’t deserve the 1 star it’s been given! Horrible owner! Went to get medication for a poorly child to be told they only had the sugar free and my prescription wasn’t for that one,apparently that’s more expensive so I offered to pay the difference as they closed it 15 minutes but that was refused.Called back my drs for them to say it shouldn’t matter and they can give either.After informing the owner she said to ring back and get prescription changed it was to expensive for them to give without the correct prescription so as I sat in the car with my sick child calling back the drs she came out looked straight at me and pulled the shutters down.11 minutes earlier than it should have closed! Felt very malicious and unsympathetic to a struggling parent who just wanted my child to be better.Avoid!!
After longstanding issues with my repeat prescription, with GP blaming pharmacy, I am pleased to say thst the pharmacy was not to blame.I have had excellent,pleasant service since,in spite of further issues.Thank you to all involved.
Let me start by saying you are very lucky I even gave one star I had no choice but to leave one. This place should be shut down, I got treated so disrespectful, and workers mumbling and making snide remarks about me, I could hear what they were saying and it wasn't nice. One staff in particular is disposable, but there are two members of staff that should get the sack. These woman are horrible individuals who need to take a customer service course in how to treat customer, no matter the problem the customer has. I believe I was accused of actions that never happened the way these woman explained, either way I was discriminated by association today and was turned away from receiving urgent medicine that is crucial to my healing. Judging by the reviews, I can see that they are the ones with the problem, even the male pharmacist was very rude to me saying, "he had better things to do than wait on me because I arrived late by 10 min to collect my medicene. These workers are obviously lacking oestrogen, which is making them very miserable. I will be taking this further!.
Disgusted with the service my mother is having. On different occasions now she’s been given the wrong tablets, incorrect strength on others and today has been given medication without a leaflet which she needs to read because of other medications.
All the staff are so helpful and pleasant. Really lovely pharmacy, everything done on time and nothings too much to ask. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I really don’t like using this pharmacy the staff are rude and arrogant. There is one particular member of staff who works most days who is truly dreadful no manners up herself and has no respect for elderly customers and is very condescending.
People have spoken to the owner on many occasions about this individual but nothing seems to change. I can’t understand why he would have someone so disrespectful working in his establishment
*Update JAN 18* - If you pay by card beware that they only have one phone line and it gets cut off if someone uses the phone. I was called at home as payment had not gone through but no one told me that. I went back in to pay and it happened again. I really think they need another phone or card machine as that is a blight on an otherwise great pharmacy. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Large pharmacy, well kept. Staff are helpful and discrete. They serve you on a first come first served basis unlike other pharmacies I've been to who seem to have a permanent wait time.
