I review this GP two years ago and now I am back here to give them another bad review. The online form system is horrible. I submitted a form for my 3 year old boy who had an ear pain. it’s been 4 days and I still don’t have a call or an appointment for him. How can a GP practice be this bad? He is under 5.
I have had similar experience when I wanted an appointment for myself (twice actually). Their phone system is so bad that there is no way I can talk to the receptionist.
I tried to get us into another GP who said that it’s not possible since the one we have is in the same area. I told them that the service is bad but they denied providing any support.
The GP services are so bad!

Well if you can get an appointment the doctors are pretty good. However, when you have to wait more than an hour on the phone and there's a good chance they will hang up on you in the process of you holding so your then put to the back of the line when you ring up again. Honestly it's completely appalling I've been calling everyday for the last 2 months because I want an appointment with the asthma nurse but I cant even get through to the receptionist. If you do want a GP appointment and actually get through to make an appointment by some sheer miracle and a lot of patience, it's about a 6 week wait. I'm changing doctors been with them 7 years and it's only getting worse.
Use to be a good surgery when Dr Bagary actually sat in surgery.
Lately can not even get a appointment,phone is always busy and when you actually gwt through you are caller number 1 for 20 mins!
No other way of booking any appointments.
Reception staff not helpful at all,when i asked how do i book a appointment if i can't get through to even make a appointment, she answered I don't know!

I have been visiting MGS medical practice/Bradley Health centre for the last 16 years. But these last 2 years the experience has been awful. Last time I got a appointment at Bradley was February 2020. You spend 30-50 mins to get through and when finally someone answers no appointments available. They even cut you off when finally reaching number1.
Today I was supposed to get a call from the Doctor after travelling down to the surgery on Friday as I had enough. Then for some reason the Doctor phoned my wife instead of my number. She was at work and told them to ring my number or the house phone. They rang our old house number which we changed at the surgery in February 2021 when moving address. then the excuse not too ring my mobile number as it doesn't exist on there system. I have had the same mobile number for 17 years and the surgery always called me many times to speak to a doctor, prescriptions and test results. I asked for another appointment and there isn't any available. Have to go down again tomm now as will never get through on the phone.
My daughter has autism and took 6 weeks for her prescription to sort out. Even the pharmacy could not believe what was going on.
I am shocked that the surgery is still open and not been closed down.
Moved away from the area but came back to this practice, as the receptionists are very friendly and will always try to help. Have always been treated appropriately and Dianne the nurse is so friendly and professional. Gave me more time than I expected at a recent appointment. Yes , you may have to wait for an appointment but that's standard everywhere now due to demand in primary health care.
I never go to the doctors, and my recent experience has let me to know why. I have tried to get an appointment with a doctor at this surgery since 7th October, but unfortunately it appears if you are not regular abuser of the system you are put to the back of the queue. I finally got to see a doctor on 17/11/2016. I explained I have had a cough for a number of months, to which I was told it's nothing to worry about it is just a nasal cough. I then asked about getting some counselling to which I was given a number to phone and then when I asked to book an appointment for a prostrate exam has its being advertised all over the media to get it checked out, I was told for crying out loud you only have a ten minute slot. Which is fair enough but when I left the doctors room it was 1024. I did not enter until 1020, so I was still 6 minutes within time. I do not know how the doctors systems work these days but it does appear that if you are like me and only use a doctor when really needed you are treated has a nuisance, surely if someone who never hardly goes to a doctor wants an appointment then surely that would indicate there must be something wrong. I could understand if the waiting room was full but it was empty. Even when I went to reception to book a prostrate I was informed that there are no male doctors at the surgery and to phone back in two weeks time to see if there is a slot available to see a male doctor. I would be interested to know how many appointment s have been made for individuals who are frequent visitors to this practice from October 7th, and is it just myself an infrequent user or abuser of the system who gets treated with this contempt.
