Very Disappointed this Sunday cost £9.0 for 1 slice of white bread I don't have it normally due to my health conditions! And a ton of butter in the eggs. I was there last year and was very good so no clue what's gone wrong there but I won't be visiting again and will be calling them to see if they charged me correctly!
Perfect stop for late lunch. Egg sandwich - have to say THE BEST I've ever had! That salty topped bread.... yum. Love the glass coffee cup, too. The garden is delightful. Sweetpea envy.
Fantastic cafe with delicious choice of food & drink & always so friendly & welcoming. Best Christmas lunch ever too. Would definitely recommend
This cafe serves lovely food, is prettily decorated and furnished and has a quiet and pleasant garden out the back for al fresco dining.
Really nice coffee and brunch menu amazing garden in summer. Very chilled!
What a gem of a shop/cafe. Next to Tillys pub on Chipping main street. Food was top quality and staff really friendly. Hot/cold sandwiches. Cakes, soup and all day breakfasts. Tea/coffee. Dog friendly in lovely garden at back with seating. Dog icecream available! Nicely surprised that the shop has all supplies Inc dog food, alcohol, fresh/tinned foods etc. Bread and such like. Groseries.
Will be back!
Called in here after a wet and windy walk in the area. Was welcomed on entering which was nice to see and once seated the orders were taken quickly. Food was brilliant, had a bacon sandwich and Fries. The bacon sandwich was one of the best I've had anywhere, loaded with several rashes of bacon. If you are in the area visiting and looking for a light bite then pop in here.
Avoid! This place is very very expensive. £15:50 for 2 ordinary coffees and 2 small pieces of mediocre Victoria sponge. We questioned the bill and was informed that each slice of Victoria sponge was £4:50! The lady behind the counter didn't seem to think that this was anything extraordinary? It wouldn't have been so bad, but the place itself is not very impressive, small village tearoom, uncomfortable outdoor seating, plain mundane setting; not a place to linger over a coffee. The staff where quite pleasant, but they should be at these prices!
