Bow Dental Surgery take your money and scam you. Please do not go there! Once they take the money they do not engage in any form of communication either. It's poor service, poor staff and they are the biggest scam in dentistry and do low standard jobs.
Dr Mark Henry is absolutely shocking at what he does. I had my dental check up and he did the check up in less than 5 minutes with his music on and told me everything was perfect about my teeth. I knew he was not honest so I decided to have second opinion and another dentist did my dental check up and discovered I have few cracked teeth that were effecting my nerves in my teeth.
There are no skilled or knowledge dentists there that actually care about your health and well being. The admin and reception staff are always overwhelmed, lost and moody. It's very uncomfortable and untrustworthy!
After visiting another dentist and hygienist iv discovered this place is not at all great. Feel like I have wasted so much money here but my teeth never looked clean and only 1 visit to another hygienist my teeth look so clean.
Recently had a cleaning done, its been 4 days and i m still in pain, Dr Henry was doing the cleaning and was very hard on it. Ive had cleaning done in the past and never had an issue. I was left with bleeding gums for a whole day, which never happened before and also in slight pain still after 4 days of cleaning.
The practice was great when Dr. Adrian was there, however that has changed. I recently had a clean and polish that was not done correctly by Dr. Henry. He was very rough and I repeatedly stopped him during the procedure to go slower. He finally did after telling him around 5 times. He said he couldn’t do it any softer even though I said Dr Adrian never caused me any pain when he was there. He may well of taken offence to this comparison. I had to have another appointment soon after. At this appointment he refused to do the treatment unless I paid. I’m an nhs patient and do not pay for this treatment. He refused to treat me and stated I was ‘lucky’ I had received the treatment without paying and stormed out when I kept reiterating it made no sense why I needed to pay for the same nhs treatment he did last time without requesting payment.
He went to reception where I went to complain and sat smirking and making snide comments to the receptionist about me as I approached. I started complaining to the receptionist and he stated, ‘You’re aggressive I’m calling the police’. I began filming him after this display of micro aggression because I was so shocked. I was then struck off by the practice via a letter for ‘being angry’ and ‘threatening behaviour’.
The video evidence shows him mocking me as ‘mad’ (gesticulating twirling movements with his hands) smirkingly, clearly not feeling threatened at all. I am appalled at the treatment I’ve received. This is grossly unfair and racially discriminating. I have forwarded a complaint to the General Dental Council. It appears he has only been registered with the GDC for around 3yrs. Do not go here. NHS patients are made to feel dehumanised. This treatment has caused me much distress and anxiety.
Very rude receptionist and staff in general. Went in there enquiring about registering and they said "what are you doing in here, it's our lunch break we are closed" and after explaining then say "We aren't taking on any new patients, try again in a few months by calling and don't come here".
Amazing service from both dentist Afy and nurse ivelina. I have a phobia of dentists but they made by experience very pleasant and comforting. Will be coming back due to customer satisfaction
There is a receptionist who is very rude and unprofessional. I went in to ask for an appointment and she rudely replied saying why are you here, we do it by phone. There was no queue but she proceeded to ask me questions about the patients in an angry manner and in a rush. Very very rude. I have not been able to get an appointment from them for 3 years! I do not recommend registering here.
Just came out of bow dental surgery which i have been going to regularly for many years, today i had a different dr as my usual dr was off sick. I have to say Mark was brilliant, he applied the numbing cream all over my teeth which is more than what my previous dr applied, and he did a brilliant job at cleaning it. Highly recommend this dentist and this dr in paticular. ????
