This shop generally has the worst feel. Some of the staff are really nice but most of them won't even say a word to you. Quite often their is no one on the tills and have to find someone. The shop doesn't stick to it's open hours. If their quite they will normally shut early. They do have some good offers in their and stock supplies for the army.
Very friendly staff and many thanks for helping out with cash back it's been a long time visiting not knowing the Lloyd's cash point had been boarded up. Well stocked shelves and happy smiling faces.
Prices are steep, unsurprisingly taking advantage of supply & demand with having the monopoly of the Bovington camp area.
Can be worth a 100m walk down the road to a small local convenience that can be cheaper, with some items..
The staff are friendly and approachable, when it's not busy.
Opening Timings do not match that displayed on notices or online. Closing early on Fridays & over the weekends.
One key point is the Greggs which is a local favourite ???? but again can be busy during normal meal timings and around 1030am-1130am????
We'll stocked, clean and tidy store. Take out coffee and a Greggs also on site.
Again the shop shuts when it wants to, wasting everyones time. Just nipped up to get some milk because its advertised as open until 10. Closed what a waist of time. Also over priced compared to the co,op at crossways. They also leave you waiting when paying at the till, obviously out having a fag again. Two members of staff have a right attitude problem. Lots of waiting around, again always travel from Bovington to Crossways Co,op or down to wool. They have a cheek calling it bovingtons local community store. Close when they want. Stay away if you want to save money and get a better quality of friendly service. What ever you do don't go by their website timings you would have a total waist of a journey
Very handy store when camping at Longthorne farm, Friendly staff usually well stock although out of bacon on the Sunday evening we were there.
Great place to pick up any thing you need. Greggs there too
Good selection of lunch time options to take away. Otherwise a typical local shop. Very small selection of alcohol (mostly just lager and cider).
