Been here multiple times. Friendly staff and the food is amazing- also a great place to buy bread, and to come for breakfast/brunch. Sometimes the service can be very slow, one time I came and waited around 45mins for pancakes, but overall this is a nice place to go. I recommend getting the bacon bap or the buttermilk pancakes.

????Autumn is the perfect time to visit the Greenwich area. That was our plan today and we did a #breakfast stop at @boulangerie_jade, a cute fine French artisan bakery & patisserie ✨ I went for their delicious chocolate #éclair, super soft, and then their #pistachio swirl, accompanied by 2 perfect lattes. You can find several of Jade as it's a small branch; in all of them, you can find a piece of France in London, making all the classics using only the best quality French flour and butter.
Just walk by this place. Rude staff and expired ingredients. Worst scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Clearly made on a dirty frying pan. Bacon obviously expired. Bread used for breakfast dishes - old and probably store bought (good one if you are a BAKERY).
Everything was either off, expired or dirty. Staff has no clue what they are doing.
Just no.
Had a great lunch here. Friendly staff. Quick service, great coffee. The avocado tartine was really great. Fair prices. I will definitely be coming back. The interior is somewhat dated but it has its charm.
This was the worst experience I have ever had in the area. Firstly, person serving is not competent to even take orders - we had to repeat everything several times until he got the order right. At one point he just walked off as I was letting know my order.. There was no feeling of being welcomed. When food came it was even worse - bacon on all of the dishes seemed off. Croque Monsieur was the driest blandest meal I have had and salad with it tasted like fridge. None of us managed finish food, be it expired ingredients or just lack of taste, and the staff never even checked how was it. When it came to paying we asked the man serving us whether he will bring the bill or we need to pay at the counter, to which he responded - I don’t know.
At the end we just wanted to leave so paid in full including the undeserved service charge and swore to let others know to save their hard earned money on top of avoiding the place ourselves at any cost.
Nice coffees, unfortunately I didn't have time for anything from the dessert/patisserie
section
A place that doesn’t take complaints about xenophobic behaviour seriously. I used to go to Jade regularly for a breakfast or lunch. Having been a regular client for 3 years , I complained over a month ago about a member of staff (who has recently joined the Jade’s team at Vanbrugh Park) about what I think was a xenophobic behaviour. The waiter ignored me and my partner few times when we were waiting for a service. When he did manage to serve us, his attitude was bit rude (he was “throwing” our orders into our table without even looking at us and saying anything). This wasn’t a big issue until a couple of weeks ago. My partner and I came to have a breakfast and the waiter took orders from everyone sitting around us but didn’t take an order from us. This was bit odd. We spotted that was engaging with the British-speaking clients differently which leads me to conclude that his behaviour was driven by xenophobia. Jade said they were investigating the case internally . After two weeks I asked what the outcome of the investigation is as I would expect them to reach out to me to explain what had happened. They never replied. It is absolutely unacceptable that xenophobic behaviour is not taken seriously. The behaviour of the waiter made us feel uncomfortable and we are not planning to get back. It is a shame as other members of the staff have always been friendly and helpful.
We were having breakfast and asked for a piece of bread for our 2 year old. The waiter came with two thin pieces of toasted bread. Upon checkout we found out that it costed us £3.50.
We are both regular customers and have been happy with the quality of service until recently. A few weeks ago we asked for tapped water for our child and was served with a bottle of mineral water that costed us £2.50, which now seems reasonable given the cost of toasted bread.
Things like these leave a bad taste and shows that the shop is no longer a friendly place. From now on we will take our business to the SOS cafe across the street, where we feel more welcomed.
Their food is still good though.
