We had fish and chips freshly cooked while waited. The staff was very friendly.
I would highly recommend the Bonymaen fish bar
I've been going here since a child and I'm quite picky- I've only ate the chips here and make sure to get them with salt and vinegar they taste amazing, the staff are really friendly and they are up for chats the service doesn't take long ((If you don't come exactly at open or closing times)) and it's quite cheap!
I've had fish and chips from here 3 times in the last 6 months. And all I can say is.. you have to go there..
The portions and the size of the fish is impressive. Along with the staff who are friendly and helpful. This place is a must..
A few car parking spaces out the front along with space in next doors community centre.

Fish cooked to perfection with a lovely crisp batter both my recent visits, chips absolutely spot on also and the mushy peas are derby class!
Chips are nice, fish wasn't good, batter was soggy and greasy, not crispy. Owners not the friendliest either, not impolite, but everyone could have done with a smile on their faces.
Food is amazing, best chip shop chips I’ve ever tasted, all fresh, stunning food. Spotlessly clean and excellent customer service. Highly recommend. Well deserved 5* hygiene rating.
