Recently picked up 2 x fish cake and chips, the quality wasn’t the same (luke warm, fish cakes were solid). I provided this feedback and was asked if I had been myself recently because he hadn’t seen me, my wife picked up our order. I was polite and providing friendly feedback, however this was not welcomed and he just said, if you don’t like our service try somewhere else.
Poor customer service and communication skills!
Went into shop there was only 2 other people in the queue - 3 people were working behind the counter at the fryer - I left after standing like an idiot - an invisible idiot after almost 10 minutes - in that time not one word was spoken to me or the other 2 customers -, not even give me 2 minutes and I will be with you or we're really busy just now - nothing nada zilch - the 3 employees were busy but it is the height of ignorance to not even acknowledge people standing in your shop waiting to be served - ignorance and very blasé - who cares what the food may have tasted like - you can keep your arrogance and ignorance - I won't be back - potential customers be aware of being ignored by staff ????
Having read reviews, I thought it would be good here, but the chips were a bit ‘stale’ and the battered sausages were warm rather than hot. Friendly service though.
not easy to get good gluten free fish and chips but they do a great job here. Order in advance!
There aren't many shops like this in Aylsham, and so, to compensate this shop offers everything I could have thought of from fish and chips, to burgers, to kebabs and veggie food too! The guy who served us was friendly and gave us realistic expectations on how long the food would take so we had time to have a brief walk around the area. Also it's open late so you can pop out late when you're peckish.
My absolute favourite kebab/chip shop of all time I really cant find a better one. They have great portion sizes at great prices and great taste to name one for example the chicken nuggets, they are amazing they are large compared to most chip shops nuggets and taste amazing comparing to any nugget I've ever tasted. Their chips are also amazing. I've had a few of the other products and I can say the same to all of them. I'll definitely be ordering when they re-open. Wish they'd accept card payment but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Would of hit 4 stars if they accepted card payments. Sounds petty but its the 1st time I've had to go to a cash point in year and half.
The food was good, hot and fresh tasting. The kebab meat was a little dry where it seemed slightly over done. Chips were good and chicken burger also good. ????
I would recommend phoning ahead as seemed busy. This is one of the better takeaways I have tried, but there is room for improvement
