I should have got pics of the gorgeous green and pink interior..
Was lovely to sit outside and watch the work go by.
They have the yummiest prosecco. The oxtail pizza was gorgeous and the burrata with pumpkin was wicked.
I need to come back for the snails (which has been on the menu before.)
We have been going to Bon Vivant for close to three years now. It feels like second home to us! Our favourite to go place and you definitely won’t be disappointed.
All staff is incredibly friendly and very attentive. The food and drinks are amazing - the menu changes from time to time and there is something for everyone in there.
They have both vegetarian and vegan options.
The restaurant is also dog friendly - we are always welcome with our well behaved puppy!
The deserts they serve are top notch. They are freshly prepared and provide explosion of taste in the mouth.
I also can’t recommend enough chicken mingle! It’s light but filling and and my to go dish to order there.
Overall, 5/5 for me in every aspect!
They do accept walk ins if they have space, but it’s best to book in advance when possible.
I searched a French restaurant, where nearby my hotel. This is recommended by Google. They played English soft rock songs, which was a good vibes. It would be much better if they played French music... The staff was nice and I felt welcome.
We weren't hungry so we decided on having starters only.
First was fried calamari. The batter was light and flavourful yet it didn't overpower the sweetness of the calamari.
We also ordered the superfood salad which was exactly what it said it was going to be. Fresh salad greens topped with a generous serving of quinoa and dates.
The soup we shared was a fish soup. As far as soups go, this would certainly be one of the more memorable ones. Packed full of flavour but not too fishy that would put off people who don't like fish. They perfected the balance between fish and cream to deliver a most delectable warming soup for any season.
Pros: Nice decor, good location, good drinks and appetizers.
Cons: Slow service and main dishes that try to be daring but just are not executed well (serving fish with bones is not a problem, but covering it in sauce so it's hard to clean is).
Well...its hard to tell. I ordered risotto but l didn't really like it. Maybe it's because they put a lot of cheese in it while I don't really like that much of cheese. But my boyfriend likes it. He also said his lasagna was quite nice! My risotto was only 9 pounds, and the lasagna was around 11 pounds. Maybe I will try other food next time.
I was in London for 9 days and this the best restaurant where I have been. The pasta Is much better than Jamie Oliver's italian restaurant. And the truffle is real, not like in other places where they claim that they have truffles.
The tea was good too. And the service very correct.
I recomend it
Has potential to be great but the food and service just don't quite get there. Goat cheese salad was nice but not amazing. Confit duck underwhelming and a little tough, the potatoes that come with it were fantastic mainly due to the duck fat/oil.
