Best KPortal Reviews
I was wondering why the line was so long. This place without a doubt serves the best Seafood Paella I’ve ever had in my life! The price was a little expensive but considering it’s London kind of expected it. If you are in the Borough Market I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back when I’m in the area!
Overrated , overpriced. Rude.
Long queue make me think it would be good, but it’s not.
Everybody knows the genuine reason for them to receive cash. I don’t think card payment nowadays would slower than paying cash.
The server was rude when he knew I am paying by card.
If you think card payment is slow , that means you need a better card machine.
Most of the contactless payment is within seconds. And don’t use slow as an excuse.
While everyone knows why you want cash.
When you earn more , you have more obligation.
Not recommended. Not worth for waiting.
Salty.
Won’t be fooled twice.
Yummy paella! Here’s a tip if you want to avoid waiting in the long line: you can go to the mussels side and purchase both the paella and mussels from there. You’ll get your food in less than 5 minutes!
There’s a bit of a queue for this one but its still quick moving. Cash is preferred to speed things up but they still accept contactless. The portion size is decent, you get chicken, shrimp, muscles in the mix. All fresh and tasty. The rice itself tastes too much of turmeric and peas… it stains your fingers yellow. Overall the food is okay if you want to give it a go but it’s not my favorite..
Really yummy paella, I lived in the south of Spain for pretty much all my life and this is to the standard or higher quality. The atmosphere is lovely on a weekday. The only thing I would have to say was the prawns being a little bit over cooked but I was fine with that since everything else was so flavourful.
I recently visited Borough Market and tried the much-hyped paella that I had enjoyed years ago. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my previous one. The portion size has shrunk, the price has increased, and the queue is now longer. Interestingly, they encourage cash payments by offering extra toppings, which felt like a subtle form of discrimination against card payments, perhaps to skirt tax obligations. Though I'm not Spanish, I found the taste to be less impressive than before. It seems the popularity is more about hype than quality.
Bomba Paella lives up to its hype! The queues were long, and I almost decided against it.. But I persevered and I am glad I did. The paella rice was nice and soft, full of flavour and there was a lot of seafood included in the meal including squid, prawns and mussels. At £10 a bowl, it is slightly on the more expensive side, but it is worth it. Oh, they operate on a "Cash is King" policy, so they would prefer if you pay in cash rather than card, so bring cash if possible!
Always a Paella fan so I didn't hesitate to this very long queue. Turn up it was very disappointed. The taste was very strange that I couldn't eat the rest. But it looks yummy though.
