We are the luckiest village by the sea to have Bobbie's Bakes. Artisan bakery with a range of fresh breads, a cake counter to die for including pies & pastries....oh my, it's heaven! Located at the top of seaside hill on the way to Newberry Beach. They also offer teas, coffees and a small menu of breakfast baps, paninis, loaded fries & nachos. 4-6 tables a chairs outside for you to enjoy the view of the bay. Doggy treats and ice cream for your pooch.
You can absolutely taste the love that they put into each and every product. Taste of the West winners for cakes and pies.
Spent a couple of days in Combe Martin to see my friend who lives here. She told me how wonderful Bobbie's Bakes is. The array of cakes, pies and pastries is fantastic. We enjoyed lovely cups of coffee with our cake treats here and enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay. So much so, we went back there again the next day. Highly recommend Bobbie's Bakes.
The best doughnuts in all of the land! Bought some today for the parents to try and to quote my mum “you can tell how fresh they are, I’ve never tasted something so soft”.
You can tell just how much care, love and attention Bobbie puts in to her bakes and Combe Martin is lucky to have such a quality producer on its doorstep.
We have just been charged £6 for a plain sourdough loaf and sadly won’t be coming back. We have a holiday let in Combe Martin and as well as coming down 6 times a year ourselves we have always recommended BBs to our guests. We will now suggest they go to the Co-Op. I will also ask my cousin who lives in the village how much they pay and post again if it’s less than £6.
Fabulous bakery. Popped in here on our last day of holiday, (Already sampled the great donuts previously) but didn't fancy a full cooked, so was advised he could cook anything we wanted. So a sausage roll and a bacon roll later we were both very happy. Obviously had to take extra bakery products for next day also ;-) Brilliant customer service from a very friendly business. If we knew we would have been here on first night of holiday for the take away as no doubt that would be delicious too.
Dropped into Combe Martin on a whim to have a look at the view and found the bakery. Amazing scones with cream and jam! So big it was almost like a burger! Delicious!!
Great food. Amazing view. Love their sausage roll and bacon sandwich - freshly made in morning. Highly recommend
Amazing bakery, everything is top notch.....Best hand made Sourdough bread I've ever had, and the chicken pies are a particular favourite of mine ????
