Food and drinks arrived quickly, customer service was great. We went for food and tried the ribs and chicken and bacon carbonara both dishes were lovely and portions were really good. Second day we had the bacon and cheese burgers and they were lovely, the burgers were thick and their coleslaw is amazing. Our last day we tried the traditional breakfast which was also good but could’ve included toast. Will be back again ????
Amazing food , staff are so friendly and helpful could not fault anything. Bargain when the kids eat for half price a little pricey otherwise but still defiantly worth it as food was amazing.
What an experience! Went to the bar to get served, had to wait while the staff were having a good chat resulting to me having to ask the bar tender "are you serving?" I ordered starters and mains. Starters arrived in good time but to then receive my main while I was I was still eating my starter, I explained to the waitress (jess) that I was still eating my starter with no response and left. I went back to the bar to ask to speak to the manager so that I was able to complain but ended up speaking to the supervisor who explained that she was new and that Sundays were difficult and busy.
From what I could see the staff had plenty of time on their hands as they done a lot of standing around and talking. They all seemed very young and unprofessional and didn't come across as very welcoming.
This cocktail was expensive, not made as advertised, and tasted yuck. As for the long black hair in my food, well, that's another story. I thought last year was poor. This year was worse.
So as a group we decided not to cook whilst we were on holiday, the boathouse seemed to be a good idea as its thr on site Restaurant.

The staff were friendly , but the food is low quality and expensive.
We had a really lovely meal here. Sometimes eating at a caravan site can be expensive for poor quality but the food was really nice and the staff were really nice too. I only vote it down a little bit as it's quite cold in there.
A catastrophic experience avoid at all costs. We had to demand
my money back it was so appalling and service of my family as customers a disgrace.
Ordered at the bar and went to hot plated area. Partner handed receipt to the surly "chef" served him his breakfast but not my young child his mini breakfast and proceeded to ignore me serving people after me! No explanation given. Also on complaint to staff they couldn't have cared less. Supervisor was more interested in serving other people. Customer service negligent. Partner in retail in many years was convinced it was the worst experience of customer service he has ever seen. Did not return.
Food came first, drinks were delayed, (drinks always served first) and I had to walk to counter to collect, chips was cold & little uncooked as could taste it frozen. menu didn't say chicken legs, it was gross, I hope for chicken breast. The beef burger was taste cheap. For the price I have paid is not worthy. Not a happy customer, won't be back or recommend anyone about this. Staff is jobsworth. I don't usually moan, but it's was worse & food also price!
