Blythedale House Bed & Breakfast

The room was clean. The bed was soft. The view was beautiful. The host was amazing. They made an excellent breakfast and were so accommodating. Highly recommend that you stay here when you come to Fort William!

This B&B was very welcoming & full of everything needed. There was a tv room with games if you wanted to escape your room. The room had beautiful updated decor whilst keeping the Scottish feel. The place is located about a 10 minute walk out of the city centre. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was updated with new gadgets. It's on a hill across from the Loch with spectacular views. There is free parking on the lot. Breakfast was really good. I can't fault this place, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.

Just finished a lovely Scottish breakfast at the still fabulous blythesdake. Stayed before and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The views are magnificent over the loch and the food superb. Looking forward to my next visit already!

We travelled as a family of 4 and stayed for 2 nights, booking a double & twin room on the 1st floor. The double room had a fabulous view over the loch and the twin room overlooked the back garden. Both rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, with modern bathrooms of a good size. There was an upstairs guest lounge with fridge, board games and a TV with internet connection! Chris & Kerry were very friendly providing helpful advice on where to eat in the town. Breakfast was cooked to order and served in the bright and airy dining room on the ground floor and parking was onsite at the front of the house. An excellent stay!

My sister and I stayed here for one night in a twin room this week during a trip to Fort William. The house is set back from the road and up a steep driveway therefore giving great views over the loch. We were late arriving (this had been pre-arranged) but both Chris and Kerry we’re there to greet us and welcome us in. Our room was a good size and beautifully decorated and the en-suite shower room was luxurious. The additions of complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and even a sewing kit in the room made this feel more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. ||There was also a guest lounge on the upper floor that had complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and enough books and board games to keep anyone happy on a rainy evening. ||We had a great nights sleep and next morning our breakfast was freshly cooked to order. There was also cereal, yoghurt, toast and homemade muffins and croissants on offer. ||It is Chris and Kerry’s first year as owners of this B&B and they have definitely invested well in high end furnishings and decor. The place is stunning but still has a homely feel and their hospitality was first class. I definitely recommend Blythedale House and look forward to staying there again myself.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Kerry and Chris just thought on every detail to make our stay comfortable as possible. The room was lovely and cozy, The shower is amazing, Tasty breakfast. Chris and Kerry are wonderful hosts, They gave us plenty of tips and suggestions on where to go and made our stay the best as it can gets.

Very impressed with the accomodation. The whole place had been overhauled by new owners and it looks great.||We had a twin at the rear and a double at the front with great views.||Both rooms were perfect with nice modern touchs such as USB charging points.||The snug lounge with tv was great was us to sit in the evening and relax.||Breakfast was great despite our early start. Many thanks to the owners for getting up early to feed us.||Shame our stay was short and sweet. Nothing to suggest as an improvement

Great guest house to spend your break in Fort William, mine hosts Kerry and Chris make your stay very special, from your breakfasts to your accommodation you will find standards far beyond your expectations. Their knowledge of the area gives you valuable information on places to visit and the best restaurants to dine at, in this sad time of Corona Virus they have plans in place to keep all their guests safe which gives you a feeling of safety and assurance while staying there. We would recommend Blythedale as the place to stay if you want that extra luxury feeling you won’t be disappointed.
