Blue Rock is a fantastic Caribbean restaurant that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning of diners. The menu is packed with delicious, authentic dishes that are bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.
One standout dish is the jerk chicken, which is perfectly seasoned and cooked to juicy, tender perfection. The sides are just as impressive, with options like plantains, rice and beans, and mac and cheese that will transport you straight to the islands. And don't forget to save room for dessert - the cakes are a must-try.
The atmosphere at Blue Rock is equally impressive, with a laid-back vibe that makes you feel like you're on vacation. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a night out with friends, Blue Rock is the perfect spot. And with reasonable prices, you won't have to break the bank to enjoy a truly unforgettable meal.

Blue Rock Caribbean Restaurant has a cosy ambiance. The proprietor is friendly, always has a warm and welcoming smile, ????????she is also quite generous with her porti????ns!
The food is heavily spiced with Caribbean flavours. The spice and salt can be an issue for some, but I'm sure if requested dietary requirements can be made.
There is always a wider choice of flavoursome Caribbean dishes, desserts, and drinks to choose from.
The space is clean and well maintained; is not hard to figure out that royal blue usually worn by the owner and runs throughout the theme of the restaurant; is her favourite colour.
The spaces is available for parties and meetings and can accommodates up to about 24 seated. We just held a small birthday party and every effort was taken to make the party a success, going beyond expectations by decorating the tables to formal events standards. Big thank you to the whole team especially Christine; who really likes event planning and entertaining, (sang happy birthday to my sister). All in all the event was a success. Dishes I have tried and will definitely reccomend are: Jerk Chicken, Fish, Rice & Peas, Ackee & Saltfish bakes & stew chicken.
I am relatively new to the restaurant, so there a more dishes I haven't tried as yet.
I will encourage anyone to looking for a good Caribbean Restaurant, to give Blue Rock a try.
My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant and we got curry chicken and jerk chicken and both the dishes were yummy!!
Their service was very gracious and we felt welcomed.
We will surely have another meal here on our next visit to the UK
What a brilliant local find! From the moment I walked in, I simply loved it. I was given such a friendly welcome from the owners Margaret and Steve, both of whom are very charming, convivial and courteous hosts. Previous posts have mentioned the wait while food is being prepared, but I didn't mind at all - food is cooked in small batches, so it is super fresh. The tranquil decor, the quality of the ingredients and the careful cooking (reminded me of eating at a dear friends mum's house in Trinidad), the very clean premises cannot be faulted.I had a perfect oxtail with rice and beans. I suspect the owner is something of an artist, as it looked so beautiful on the plate - If only I wasn't so greedy, I'd have taken a photograph! Very highly recommended.
I really loved the food, the service was amazing, I recommend the stew chicken, Jollof rice, with veg and dumplings
I will definitely be going back it was a really great experience. Staff are polite and really welcoming x
