Came for a birthday meal early in the evening l and the service was amazing, thanks to Fabio! He was very friendly and helpful, though that may have been because there were only 2 tables of 4! I do think it's quite pricey without any discounts, but thankfully they have a good offer on Manchester Confidential :) the seafood platter can be a single (£20), or to share (£40) and it was so worth it! The seafood is super fresh! The lobster could have been slightly larger for £20 per half... But everything was seasoned well! The starter octopus salad and tuna sashimi were delicious and substantial. The mussels were quite small in size, but still tasty. My dad told them that it was my birthday and asked if they could do anything to make it special, so they brought the pistachio Tiramisu out which was lovely......... But they charged for it -_- all in all, very happy with the MC voucher :)
Gorgeous food (I had the lobster starter and 1/2 lobster main) and yummy cocktails. With friendly staff, I would highly recommend and looking forward to going back soon.
Bargain, out with my work colleagues for a leaving drink. They've got a great deal on cocktails from 4-7pm....two cocktails for just £7. Best price in Alderley Edge. Enjoyed the cured meats and cheese platter...had to eat something to soak up all the alcohol. Very friendly staff!
Been here twice now, first on a promotion offer and liked it so much went back for full price. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with good understanding of the menu, good selection of drinks as well. Downstairs bar area music was too loud when we visited so struggled to hear other party members however upstairs dining area is complete different and very cosy atmosphere. A definite new favourite for me
Service was first and foremost excellent. We were greeted at the bar area by a lovely waitress who got us a drink. We had one main waiter who was very jolly and friendly, as well as attentive. Food was amazing. For starters the carpachio of tuna and sea bream had lots of flavour and were plentiful. The carpachio was almost like a tuna tartare. Mains we had lobster which was a lot of fun and delicious. They had cooked the lobster with their signature herb butter, and it came with a mountain of wedges and salad. For the deserts, we had tirimasu and cheesecake. Both were heavenly, honestly some of the best examples of tirimasu and cheesecake I have ever tried. They were light and creamy.
We had some Italian mojitos to wash it all down which were very tasty and well balanced.
All in all the portions were much bigger than we were expecting. It was like fine dining but with mamas portions. We left late having a great evening, we were there for ages but it felt right.
Caught an early evening dinner. Very attentive waiting staff with lots of knowledge about the menu (great menu as well). Intrigued about the table button!
Really attentive staff and great food. Drinks are on the pricey side. Good atmosphere.
