Best KPortal Reviews

Located in Old Town Hastings, it is probably the best tasting fish and chips in the area. The batter is just right to my taste and the fish deliciously cooked, and the chips are not so greasy. Food portions are good. The staff are friendly and kind. The price is just about right. Whenever I crave for fish and chips, Blue Dolphin always come to my mind. Highly recommended.
Wonderful fish n chips, great service provided by a helpful and friendly team.
Portion size and presentation great.
Fish n chip shop offers dine in as well as take away, located in the heart of the Old Town of Hastings.
Well worth a visit for this very well cooked British favourite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s all the way.
Despite the pale looking fish the food was actually very tasty. I would definitely go back here again if ever in Hastings. Prices are much more reasonable than some on the high street (avoid the tourist trap ones on the main sea front!)
Only lost a star as cash only and there was a bit of a wait.
This place has gone downhill and used to be the best chips in town now. Sadly, the worst chips in town and who in their right mind charges 50p for batter on a sausage ???? I won't be returning you have been warned!!
The fish is perfect, nice crispy batter, chips are tasty and well cooked, my family have always mentioned this shop from back in the day when we come down from london, this is always our fav, now we bring our kids there too, its one of the original chip shops in hastings.
We recently had the pleasure of stopping by the Dolphin Fish Bar in Hastings Old Town, where we were fortunate enough to meet Zach and his assistant. Upon walking in, we were immediately struck by the charming and cozy atmosphere, and the friendly service only added to the welcoming vibe.
As we perused the menu, Zach and his assistant were incredibly helpful and patient, answering all of our questions and offering their own personal recommendations. We ultimately decided to try the jumbo sausage and batter, which turned out to be an absolute delight. The sausage was juicy and flavorful, and the batter was perfectly crispy and golden.
In addition to the delicious food, the location of the Dolphin Fish Bar is simply unbeatable. Situated right on the seafront, it offers stunning views of the ocean and a truly picturesque setting. Whether you're looking for a quick bite during a leisurely walk or a relaxed meal with friends or family, this is the place to be.
Overall, we would highly recommend Zach and the Dolphin Fish Bar to anyone visiting Hastings Old Town. With their friendly service, delicious food, and unbeatable location, it's truly a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone in the area.
Have used this place for decades and recommended it to friends and family. Was done here bank holiday Monday. Due to open at 12am so stood outside in the rain waiting only to be told would have to wait for 40 mins. Won't be coming back can only think service levels have dropped or new owners won't be coming back.
Just tried the fish n chips from this place, and it's hands down the best I've had in a while! Crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish, and the chips are spot on. Huge shoutout to the guy I met at Crowhurst Park gym who recommended this gem! Thanks a ton for the tip – it's a game-changer!
