Such a lovely local pub. Landlord is one in a million. Really made to feel welcome by staff and locals . Load of real ales and great ciders . Very friendly place. A gem in North Wales

First visit to a quaint country old fashion pub that's dog friendly and staff are very friendly too. Outside seating and car park available serve good coffee too

Excellent little pub. Friendly and quick service, with plenty of choice of drinks. We didn’t have food but it looked good. Nice beer garden and best of all… doggy friendly. Will definitely call in again ????????????
We were staying across the road at Orchard Farm. Popped in on our first night there. Lovely friendly Landlord called Gary. A proper pub, selling good beer, cider etc. I had the Lees bitter. Very nice. Local friendly customers who stop and talk about the history of Halkyn and recommended some great walks and places to visit. Although the Pub does no offer hot meals etc, they do a selection of freshly prepared rolls.
Anyone staying around this area should pay Gary and his pub a visit.
I went to this pub Friday 28th July 2023. There was one bartender on duty. He was welcoming, helpful and friendly. As the bar filled up I was made to feel welcome again. I can strongly recommend the West Coast IPA.......excellent beer!! The only reason I left the food review blank, is because I only had beer.
Found this pub by chance. It's a real ale pub, with lots of history and interest. Definitely worth a visit. ????????
