One of the best cafes in Edinburgh. Staff and manager Helen are so friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is beautiful with low music in background, still allowing you to speak. The food is absolutely beautiful and served beautifully on a plate. No grease in breakfast , or greasy chips etc, PLEASE give this cafe a try.
My husband and I regularly lunch at The Blossom Tree with our wee dog. We always get a fantastic welcome and the most delicious food. Our personal favourite mains are Highlander burger and South West mac and cheese - very tasty and generous helpings and the chips are always cooked to perfection! I enjoy a bit of home baking to finish off and the cakes and tray bakes are all first class as is the coffee to wash it down.
I recently ordered a takeaway afternoon tea for 7 people (1 gluten free) as I was hosting an afternoon get together. The afternoon teas came on cardboard tiered stands (each had 3 helpings and the GF was obviously separate). They were beautifully presented with a stack of finger sandwiches for each person plus sausage rolls, mini quiches, big fruit scones with jam and cream and a fantastic selection of mini cakes. Everything was delicious (and so fresh) and everyone was wowed! The little bite sized cakes were all to die for! And the extra bonus - everyone went home with a doggy bag! The gluten free afternoon tea went down a storm too.
I can’t praise the Blossom Tree Cafe enough.
We went to the cafe for the first time today with 6 of our lovely kids from the local school,The reception we got from Helen was fabulous! She was so friendly and understanding and chatted so friendly to us and our kids, don't know why I've not been before and intend to return,with family and friends and maybe enjoy a cocktail that I spotted whilst there ???? I'll definitely pass my findings onto my friends and family,thank you Helen.
Absolutely perfect afternoon tea for my hubby's birthday! Everything from the sandwiches to the cakes were delicious! It was beautifully wrapped and presented and was placed in our car so it remained in one piece!

Good variety of snacks, meals and drinks. A real change from the old Weavers Knowe, open and lighter. Well worth popping in for a coffee or a meal.

Absolutely amazing I say 100 miles from Edinburgh and they went out of there way to deliver an afternoon tea to my daughter great service can not fault them and will use again????????????food was amazing too great choice of sandwiches and cakes ????????
