This place is magnificent! A hidden gem in Horton. The owners are really nice and welcoming. The food was fantastic and so were the prices. You can pay with card now (seems that it was not possible a while ago). If you are looking for a hot drink and some really nice soup, sweet treat or samdwich after a hike in the area, this is the place you should go to! (avoid Horton's pub!!).
Lovely little tearoom in a perfect setting. We'll worth a visit.
Lovely little place, just 5 minutes walking from the station. The food is great and their prices are incredible.
After two nights of wildcamping on pen-y-ghent this place was a real blessing!
The portions are big! Had an egg bun and homemade chocolate cake, unfortunately I ate it all before I remembered to take any photos.
The place sells jams and lovely homemade cookies.
They take card too and the prices are amazing!
We stopped here after walking Whernside. A great little find. A lovely relaxing view of the railway line and quaint farm buildings. Very reasonably priced.
After bobbing up Pen-y-ghent on a typical dull drizzle of a day, it was a relief to find this gem of a tea room, not an extensive menu (southerners take note) but by eck, it was good, #veryrecomended
Step back in time as you enter this tearoom! Home made biscuits and jams available too.
Absolutely love this place, been lunching here for many years while out on our motorbikes. Taking home a few bags of Heather's biscuits is a real treat!
