It is a lovely walk along the side of the border mountain and the views are spectacular you get to see some paragards as if you're lucky but the car park is quite small you can walk miles and follow the path do short walks it's up to you but make shur you take water with you

Start at black hill car park and follow the clearly marked trail.
You will be blessed with incredible panoramic views. Well worth the hike.
You’ve got to visit! It’s a must! It’s a super winding road to get here via Clyro where we staying but it was well worth it. It’s a slightly steep walk to begin with but then evens out and you are rewarded with Panoramic views across the valley.

Great place for a hike. Beautiful views. Road up to the car park in the car is a bit rugged.
Take a walk up the Cats Back, you decide the difficult level, but best go an a clear day for the views. Be prepared to do some reversing on the the way there along the single track road
Well been here few times before. Never on winter conditions. So I expected today problems with ice on the road up to the car park. Did not get to it coz already someone had problem on the road to get up so I parked on the site of the road by last farm. When I came back from the walk found out I cant get out from the wet ground back on the road. So I would like thanks today people who help me out. And tow my car back on the road. And before you help to get going another car. Amazing job.
Fantastic walk from here over The Cat's Back and Black Hill and then on to Hay Bluff, coming back down into the Olchon Valley just west of the ridge. Swirling clouds gave way to views for miles.
