AVOID. WASTED MY TIME. I was told that my medication would be ordered in and to pick it up a week later. due to being on crutches, and it being on the complete otherside of Southampton to where I live, I couldn't get to the pharmacy till 2 weeks after they had told me to come back. After lots of effort and pain as I'm unable to drive, and still on crutches, I get there just to be told they haven't got it. They either order it and then have to come all the way back but who knows if they actually have it. Or I get a new prescription and have to pay the prescription charge AGAIN which I don't and can't do as a broke student. DONT GO HERE. you'll just waste your money. Extremely disappointed and now I'm short on desperately needed pain medication.
Oh my word, this place is slow..... highly recommend any other local pharmacy, this place is often short of or out of stock. Used to be my regular, but since tried various other local pharmacy, have experienced much better prompter service.

Pretty good when you go in even when it gets busy but when you need to make a call to the pharmasist and you are told by the assistant to call no one answers the phone. 6 times through tues 28th and 8 times on 29th Nov 2023. Now I will have to make another visit to find when he will be in to call again.
so convenient next door to the doctors surgery ! for those who complain of it being slow remember in bitterne sainsburys and boots have closed their pharmacys along with our government expecting pharmacists to give out advice so an extra workload to an already overstretched resource ; wait time from leaving doctors to leaving pharmacy 20 mins so a big thanks from me
They don't answer the phone, like, ever, and their service is not amazing but they do what they gotta, I guess, you can get your meds from here. Just a ballache checking if they actually received your script or not cos they don't answer the phone.
Terrible service, never have your medication, consistently forget to order, look at you like a piece of rubbish and you are an inconvenience. Left my son without his medication without any care in the world!!!!!
Bitterne Pharmacy is small, yet offer excellent service.
Just be prepared to queue at busy times.
Great pharmacist, such interesting stock including excellent first aid supplies. A really Aladdin's cave.
