Fantastic little hideaway, very friendly and personal service with a great choice of food.
Plenty of drink options, for all tastes- including a gin menu.
The grazing board was really good and we appreciated the extra bread.

I booked Bistro Marie for my wife’s 50th birthday diner for a small group of friends and wow what a night!! The food was superb, Julie was an exceptional host, so accommodating and just such fun! Would highly recommend for a diner party as it is just a laugh from the minute you sit down!

Had a great Saturday evening at the Bistro. A fabulous platter of food and some good wine. Julie really looked after us and deserves much support. It’s small but has a very good and unique atmosphere.

As I sat at the Bistro Marie, I couldn't help but feel disappointed. The ambiance was lackluster, the service was slow, and the food was mediocre at best. I had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be a huge letdown.
To start with, the hostess was inattentive and unfriendly. It took forever to get our drinks, and when they finally arrived, they were lukewarm and poorly made. We ordered some appetizers, but they were underwhelming and not worth the price.
As for the main course, it was a disaster. My food was overcooked and dry, and my friend's meal was bland and unseasoned. We were both disappointed with the quality of the food, especially given the high prices.
Overall, I would not recommend this bistro bar to anyone. The service was slow and unprofessional, and the food was subpar. Save your money and go somewhere else where you can enjoy a decent meal and a better experience.
We went last Friday Julie is such a super host. The food was excellent as I love hot food, presented beautiful and served quickly. Extremely flavoursome and good sized portion. Thank you so very much, loved the atmosphere and excellent service.
Went there for the first time with my daughter this evening, will definitely be going back! Julie is lovely, food and drink both good and well priced. My daughter has already planned or next visit. I wish Julie the best luck with this business and will be recommending the place to anyone that asks.
