Friendly staff although medical assistance for anyone that works is an issue.
Cannot pre-book an appointment you must call at 0800h on the day so, if you go to work and pay tax you're better off going private and just accepting that you pay for other people's health care. Hopefully you can recoup these costs later in life.
Would like to say today I had an appointment at 2.30pm by a female doctor who checked me over . What a lovely lady she was . And I must add how beautiful she was aswell. Absolutely fantastic from all the staff especially the female doctor . Thank you once again Guys . Keep up the good work
Awful had to wait for a call back for my own daughter just to be refused service by her local doctors because there was no availability theres alot of people wasting their time and my daughter has to miss out because of it. We got given two impossible appointments at urgent care which my daughter has complex needs and couldn't make it. This place needs standards.
Mostly indifferent toward anything resembling health care, only a medical sick service. The follow up process is virtually non existent. You get 10 minutes and only one complaint per appointment. It must be another peasant v privilege place. A reflection of the history of County Durham. One word to those concerned. A referral and to James Cook Hospital could be the preferred option to consider. At Bishopgate insist on a second opinion
I'm baffled by Bishopgate medical to be honest. Tried to get a GP discussion via phone a couple days ago as I am unfit for work and need a fit note to verify (which shouldn't be a problem as I have a longstanding record of both mental and physical injuries) and I got told, from a very rude and abrupt receptionist, "oh well you need to call back at 2pm for that."
Tried for hours and couldn't get through.
Rang up today and they said that a doctor will call me at 2 30pm.
Which is good. But confusing. Different staff tell you different things and its basically laziness as far as I can tell. Iv worked in customer service and would get in deep trouble for talking to clients the way they speak to me.
Message to bishopgate staff: most of you do a great job and I have eternal love and respect for you. Some of you are lazy arrogant kids who cant be arsed to do their job properly and you need to give your head a shake.
Nothing but good experiences here!
- The staff are extremely friendly and professional
- The phone has a queue system and they always answer within a couple of minutes
- They have lots of appointments, especially for young children
- There's a pharmacy next door
TURN THE FLIPPIN’ RADIO OFF! Or at least play relaxing music. That row is not conducive to good mental health and I feel stressed to death. Not at all what I expect from health professionals
What kind of doctors don't accept bookings!
NHS are wanting a pay, first. Do your job.
