I come here for cake and coffee on a Sunday morning with my cycling club, the cake and coffee is amazing as is the service. One of the best cafe stops we do :)
Don't expect fine cuisine, but this is a great place for good honest grub, top notch Quiche , or tea and a cake. The value for money is excellent and there is cover to sit outside with your dog, or keep a eye on your bike. It's one of a few places I'll keep coming back to.
Great little cafe! Lovely food, two meals for £9 on selected meals. Very nice desserts to. All homemade! An informal setting. I recommend the Caramel Shortcake because it was so tasty. I shall return ????
Rare find food all home cooked! Wonderful breakfast! Traditional apple pie bread & butter pudding bakewell tart & the list goes on! Coffee & walnut cake chocolate cake. Cheese & ham ploughman's. Steak & ale pies chicken & mushroom beautifully cooked. Eat in or take away. Lovely staff. Pay a visit you will not be disappointed!!
For a bite to eat after golf, very good. Pies look lovely, although ive only had toasties. Good service and nice food. Given 4 stars as it's not exceptional, but it is nice and good for a bite to eat or drink
Friendly staff, good wholsome food home made quick service. Pies are frozen for sale to cook at home or in a caravan as there is a site on the grounds. Only down side is that the pies are microwaved to serve hot.
Other items on the menu cakes,soup,sandwiches. Although a wooden building it is clean and a veranda part is "dog friendly" to well behaved dogs.
Love this place. The best scrambled eggs ever.. The pies are to die for. Pastry just melts and flavours of how granny used to make pies. The cakes are amazing. Friendly staff and good value for money. A real treat x
Gorgeous home made cakes, bakes & pies!. We have often taken a drive out here especially for the delicious cakes and for coffee. Lovely staff & pretty surroundings. Very reasonably priced too!!.
