Went in for a new handbrake cable, and was quoted around £100 at first. Then on the day that shot up to £180. We still proceeded, and the job was done. However, they could have put everything back together when they finished, rather than just leave the rear console / cup holders detached.
To also note, the console was taken apart initially for the handbrake to be tightened, but after noticing that the cable was stretched it was time for a new cable. Hence leaving it loose for the new cable to be installed. Sorry to assume that you would put it back together for 2 hours charged labour.
The Mrs brought a car from here, after a bad experience at another garage and waiting for over a month it completely opposite with these guys. Very friendly and very happy with the motor
