I thought the pharmacy would probably be closed, but according to the page I got to here from they're " open, less busy than usual, closes at 9pm." As they still haven't restored my prescription to being delivered, after asking twice, I had to try.. Fair enough that they're closed on a Bank Holiday, but the information online needs to reflect that, as it's misleading, If the information source says it's open, with no mention of " times may be affected by Bank Holiday " as some places do, then it's not exactly unreasonable to take that as fact.. Particularly regarding something as important as people's medication..! And that not everyone drives, so struggling to get over here, pointlessly ( and painfully) is a huge issue..
Over the New Year Bank Holiday.... Amina went above and beyond to ensure our medication had been ordered in and was ready for me to collect. Thank you.
The pharmacy is always very busy but the staff are always helpful and kind the pharmacists are very knowledgeable and willing to help
Forced back to this useless place as boots closed. First prescription in and back to it not being ready, not having the medication at all, even thou they sent me a text asking me to pick it up. Pointless
Can't say much as I came around 9 pm on Tuesday and it was closed. Went to the second hatch as directed, rang several times and no one came.
Firstly, this service has always been a little slow. Since the pandemic however, it's been excruciatingly and frustratingly slow. Great thing about this service is they open til 11pm most nights. Unfortunately, it's tucked away, making it pretty daunting and potentially makes a lot of their customers vulnerable. There's not enough lighting and it would help people feel a lot safer if we knew this area was permanently cctv'd too. I've seen (read "smelled") weed being used in this area during my regular visits. Although these users aren't exactly troublesome users, it makes for lots of nervousness as a customer who has to stand around waiting 5,10 maybe more minutes for their prescriptions. Suggestions for improvement? Lighting up the car park (including their rear car park) CCTV all round the exterior of the building) and faster (but still accurate) dispensing of prescriptions please!!
My husband had to visit a pharmacy late at night as our little one was unwell. He was extremaly happy with level of service and care the pharmacist had to offer. Despite having another pharmacy closer to us, we have decided to register with this one. Long opening hour plus the service - convenience. Strongly recommend
The staff at this pharmacy are fantastic, they are often more helpful then my doctors and always go that extra mile to provide great service. They do all they can to provide solutions and update you by phone. Pharmacy is well stocked. Delivery is quick. It is often busy with queues but this is because they serve a large number of people
