Lovely one-night stay during a bike trip. Graham was so friendly and welcoming - he found a corner in the hallway where we could leave our e-bikes indoors, and offered that we could hang around a bit longer in the morning if we wanted to miss the torrential rain forecast! Nice to have a communal lounge area to read and chat to other guests. The sauna was a nice bonus although we didn't get round to trying it!
3 of us stayed here on our recent motorcycle tour. What an absolutely brilliant place. Great facilities, even a sauna and hot tub. The owner Graham is a perfect host. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the food at dinner then breakfast was just wonderful. Do not miss the chance to stay here, you'll have a really enjoyable stay.
Graham and his cosy hotel are wonderful characters and he is such a warm caring generous host. I can honestly say the fish and chips he made us were the best I have ever eaten. He is a very good cook, has an excellent sense of humour. He is currently renovating the hotel and is full of energy and enthusiasm for the new season. I wish him all the very best.
Graham is a super friendly host, beautiful location and fantastic breakfast . Highly recommended. Clean and comfortable and surrounded by stunning scenery. Good choice of evening meals at reasonable price.
My daughter and myself had a fab time with Graham who owns the hotel he is very friendly and accommodating, the food both breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality. I look forward to returning as it's a very cosy and safe place for a break. Hopefully see you soon Graham take care, Janice.
We loved it here! Graham is a very hospitable, friendly and funny host. We felt right at home. We watched football together and had a good laugh with him and other guests. If you prefer to hang out by yourself or your own party, there’s enough room to do so. Loch Sunart has a beautiful scenery and is lovely for hiking. Graham can advise you on great paths and hidden gems!
What can we say about this place ! We ended up here by mistake when the ariundle lodge made an error, and so we were booked in here.||Rooms/decor is old style and may not be to everyone's taste, but rooms are clean and comfortable, all you require for a couple nights stay.||However, what makes this place is the host ! Graham would go over and above from making breakfast early for us due to an early trip. Making evening meals after the service time had ended, even doing people's washing as they had a small child ! ||Food was really nice and |all freshly cooked and plentiful portion sizes.||Would recommend this place in a heartbeat.|
Graham was incredibly welcoming, kind and good crack. Gave us everything and more that a guest could need. Introduced us to sauna therefore gave us fresh towels everyday (a must in the highlands). Breakfast was vey filling, tasty and local. We’ll be back.
