We went here because they have lots of vegan ice cream. The staff were friendly and the ice cream was well priced and tasted amazing. Unfortunately the stand that they put the ice creams in was covered in melted ice cream from other people's ice cream and half way through eating my vegan ice cream, found a chunk of bright blue ice cream, which was definitely not vegan. This is potentially a serious issue if someone had a dairy allergy and needs to be addressed.
I don't know where to start. This place was amazing. I went to holiday really close to here and I'm not lying when I say we went there everyday for a week. At the time there was pizza (but I'm not sure if they still do ????) and it was delicious, we ordered it, went back to the place we were staying and it was ready in about 20 mins. Now the ice cream. I've never seen anywhere like it. There were 74 ice cream flavours if I remember correctly. That was the nicest ice cream I have ever had. The prices were also really cheap. The staff were super friendly. Well it's a well deserved 5 star, I loved it.
Popped in here one Saturday afternoon in August...there was a group of 7 of us and the shop was empty when we arrived, by the time we had been served there was a queue out the door!
The shop was manned by a group of 3 or 4 very young girls who clearly didn't have a clue what they were doing.
The slow service meant that my mum's ice cream had begun to melt before they had finished serving us...I asked them to pop it back in the freezer so that it wouldn't be 'soup' by the time she got to eat it. They said they couldn't and one girl (who seemed to be in charge) stuck the cone and ice cream upside down in a tub and popped it back on the counter!
We were then left standing waiting to pay...when they eventually decided to take our money I asked them to make my mum's ice cream again as she was now basically left with a cone and liquid in the tub...the girl said she couldn't do anything as the owner wasn't there and the freezers always struggle when it is a hot day!!
An absolute shambles...it was a hot day and the island was busy but this shop has been there for years and should be prepared with experienced staff who can serve quickly and offer a decent level of customer service...such a shame!
MASSIVE selection of ice cream, ice cream was delicious. However, staff didn't know which ice cream was which. When I asked one member of staff for a flavour, she first of all another member of staff which one was which so i had a lick before paying and realised it was the wrong flavour! Which luckily I was not allergic to, but if I was that would've been a different story. Ice cream is really nice however, but quite small.
Delicious ice cream, wide variety of flavours, and has a very good amount of non-dairy options for people who can't eat it. Amazing place!
Under new owners. Ben and Shellys ice cream parlour and has just reopened. Well worth a visit. The chocolate Milkshake was thick and creamy with little chocolate bits, the waffles, were yummi...
You should update your closing times on google/online as it says 9pm for closure. However, today went back with the family on purpose to have your ice cream as it is delicious last time, we arrived at 8:03pm to only be told by the young lady that you were closed. I said that online it says that the closing time is 9pm, to what she replied they were closing earlier because you had no more ingredients (for pizza) I said we just wanted ice cream, and she just said that the till was closed, she wasn’t very pleasant and just turned her back to continue tidy up the chairs. Sorry, it makes no sense to close an hour earlier in the peak of the summer, in a holiday area. The ice cream is very good but the service not so much.
Fantastic service and delicious ice creams. Couldn’t ask for more from an awesome ice cream parlour. Highly recommend
