god they now have a lunch-time from 1-2pm. Do they not realise most of the population works 9-6 with lunch at 1-2? That means almost no one is able to use their service now if they can't go over lunch. Only on Saturdays. Please delay your lunch by an hour
I've always loved this pharmacist, though my experience has been limited to over the counter stuff. My first prescription experience was great - friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what some of the 1 star reviews are about - I can only assume they wandered into B**ts or Ll**ds, both of which I have used and neither or which come close to Bell Chemist. Keep up the good work guys, I think you are fabulous.
The staff here are so rude! Won’t even look at you when they are talking to you, have no customer service skills at all.
Not my usual pharmacy however thought I would give them a try when my normal pharmacy wasn’t going to have my medication until Monday - they told me that this was discontinued and that I can’t even get this medication anymore, funny how when I went back to my normal pharmacy they could order it in.
Being made to feel like an absolute nuisance when you’re already feeling under the weather is not what you need from a pharmacy!
Would rather wait till next week and be in pain all over the weekend than ever going back there and being made to feel how I did .
Perhaps the rudest pharmacist ever, (female Indian woman) I was polite and friendly, just wanting something that I can purchase over the counter and no prescription is needed. Manners cost nothing! Perhaps she should work on her customer service skills…
Always helpful even by phone. My repeat prescription is always ready on the right day, unlike my previous chemists! Only problem I have is the stairs have no rails so the disabled or elderly do struggle so a couple of handrails would be great. Other than that, top service.
Have tried 16 times to call no answer continues to ring or cut off given up. Trying to let them know they have given me someone else's medication which I think is pretty important. No other way of contacting them without going in there tomorrow. Not good service
Have switched to Bells after shambolic service from other chemists in Hitchin. Could kick myself for not doing so sooner. Always polite efficient service.
My prescription was provided with the wrong instructions on the box, telling me to take double the dose daily that the doctor prescribed.
Only discovered this after being a month on double the dose of meds after probing into what I’d thought was only been issued half the meds.
This kind of negligence could seriously harm someone which is why I’m posting this as a warning to others.
And has meant I may need to take the course of medication again from day 1, not good for my health or financially, having to potentially pay hundreds more to see a private specialist again an extra time.
Not sure how a pharmacy could be this irresponsible.
