This is easily one of the best Chinese Takeaways in Devizes.
Tonight I tried the salted, chilli, crispy shredded chicken which someone else said they didn't like, but this is now one of my favourites as it tasted amazing!
Someone else said the rice was over cooked, but I think they just use much healthier brown rice, which tastes exactly the same to me.
So top quality, it's easy to get to and your food is always ready really quickly, which when I'm getting takeaway is always great as it's normally because I'm short of time.
Family run, and always very friendly / happy staff.
I've also been going here 20 years!
The chicken chow mein had bones in it! The crispy seaweed had no flavour or sweetness.
Sweet and sour chicken balls were burnt!
Would not recommend, the only thing that I got that was decent was the spring rolls and they were free
I have gone in some evenings to pick up a meal deal for myself which has always been delicious. This evening I got some sweet and sour chicken balls, chow mein and other items. Cooked beautifully and delicious. My daughter even said “This Chinese is so underrated” she’s a fussy eater!!
we ordered around 6:30 ish and our rice was burned called up and the offered replacement so we drove back and picked up yet another burnt rice, chips were good chicken chow mein was also had a burnt taste and the curry was separated the liquid was on the top and the sauce was underneath. the only good thing was their prawn crackers well done!
Picked up some food from here tonight the rice was over cooked, the chicken in the salted chilli chicken was not good, mainly batter every mouthful and it was that greasy it made me and my partner feel sick, it did cause a very unsettling feeling when it began to digest and came with a bit of pain (not overly painful at all just the kind of pain you get when you ingest too much grease - it was more discomfort than direct pain but it wasn’t pleasant, it felt like it could’ve came back up any second).
Everything tasted off and greasy as hell, ruined the whole meal! After finishing the last bite I was happy to eat (still over half of my food was left) I gagged at the pure taste of grease/batter I really wouldn’t recommend this place out of all of the Chinese take always in town this is the worst by far!
I ordered chicken with bambooshoots and mushrooms with egg fried rice
No bamboo shoots ...they were replaced with cheap sliced carrots......no egg in the rice which looked burnt ...
I phoned this takeaway to complain and I was told that they didn't have any Bamboo shoots so used carrots instead ... I.was.not told this when I picked up order
To be honest I think this is something they do because it's cheaper and more profit
.not a great place to eat ...first time never again

I definitely ordered chicken mushroom and Bamboo shoots, !! I was not miss understood. I also phoned this the premises on getting home and seeing what I had purchased and I was told over the phone that they had run out of bamboo shoots and so used carrot instead .
I most definitely don't want another meal from this place ...even if it is offered for free .
Ordered a meal deal for 2 people which easily fed 3 of us..Absolutely delicious, will definitely order again
Best Chineese for miles around. Ive tried them all, this is the best. They also make curry which tastes like curry. Friendly staff and smile and make you feel welcome. Lots of options for vegetarians too. Ive been coming here for 20 years. Keep up the good work.
