Upon arrival for a quick stop for breakfast and to let my dog have a stretch I was shocked to find dogs aren’t welcome in the building! A vinyl floor so easy to clean which allowed muddy cyclists on… go figure!
Any the breakfast… expensive and only like warm was left after eating the toast.
So after 35 minutes of being there and a disappointing breakfast without the dog we decided to leave to be asked for £11 for parking for the 35 mins.
Totally rubbish experience and won’t be coming back!
Shame as beautiful place.
Since new ownership it's gone down hill. No real menu, no pastries or croissants in the morning. Service is slow and the food is poor. Coffee is probably better than before but it's still just pods. Need to up their game
we got here pretty early in the morning so the carpark wasn't very busy and got a table at the cafe. a good choice of breakfasts were available but I went for the lumberjack, the biggest one. staff were friendly and happily changed the mushrooms for another item. food arrived in good time and nice and hot. bacon was amazing as was the bread. all items were cooked well and we you seem to get a lot for your money. cost was about average but you did get your monies worth. one of the best around the area.
Under new management. No hot food. No ice creams. Playground cafe shut too. Prices just as expensive as before but the cakes and coffees a lot worse in quality. Long waits considering they only offer cold food and coffees.
An amazing and beautiful place, super clean and friendly staff. The cafe is very nice and the portions are plenty. Lot to do with the kids there's something for everyone so every time you come back it's a different experience.
They don't serve hot food anymore. Under new management. Was terrible service. Very slow. Small selection of just cakes on offer.
Asked for a proper cup but was served in a throwaway paper cup.
Sustainability appears to be not a thing here.
Extortionate. Say no if they ask if you want to add anything because that is the start of their scam. Ended up paying an extra 4 or so quid for guacamole and sour cream on cheese nachos.
One coke. One mocha and nachos costs 21 pounds
Save your money and bring a pack lunch. Embarrassing prices.
