Pleasant local cafe with interesting selection of homemade foods and friendly, relaxed, slightly alternative vibe. On a sunny but cold day they kept the whole cafe front open like in summer, the result was much like sitting outside and I was rather cold even in the back of the cafe. The pasties were nice, the soup a bit bland and watery though, and staff didn't seem sure what it was. Menu slightly confusing as it mentioned what's added to the soup (thyme, pumpkin soup and cream) but not what the soup was actually made of. Would give 3.5 but as I can't 4 for the benefit of the doubt.
My favorite place we ate in Llanberis! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I highly recommend getting a pasty or roll as they are very tasty and the cole slaw and salad it’s served with are wonderful. The drinks were good too! Highly recommend this place as your lunch stop.

Food... Hit and miss
I had soup ' tomato and garlic'. It was bland and I couldn't really taste any garlic in it given it's supposed to be one of the main ingredients. It was not good at all. I had the chorizo topping which didn't make the soup taste better. I had a bite of my partner's chickpea and curry pie and it was lovely and flavourful. If I only had the soup that day, I'd be hesitant to have their food again.
No gluten free bread options.
I had a matcha latte which was good. Partner said the latte was good.
Berry tea was nice.
The peach and rosemary cake was ok. Couldn't taste rosemary so it was a let down.

Really nice cafe, and good for welcoming yourself to Llanberis. Went here for a cute lunch. It has lovely views and seating space to sit in looking out and see the colourful shops/houses in Llanberis. Cute aesthetic and nice selection of food.
I really like this cafe but, like other reviewers I think there’s a lot of room for improvement. Petes Eats has been closed awhile now & this has been the only coffee house to chat with friends. But… with the tourist season coming, The weekend food is ridiculously expensive for what it is; the choice is limited & space isn’t the issue. I bought a sausage roll & when I asked why it was cold, I was told that I should have checked beforehand as it was one ‘from yesterday’ and, No… it couldn’t be warmed up ?!* The food IS NOT made on the premises and no matter how you dress this up, it amounts to the same deal. Keep your prices regular & instead of loyalty stamps, give locals a lo/go pass as The Heights do. After all, we keep you going in winter & don’t need tourist prices. It’s quirky, dog friendly and easy going. Slightly fuzzy but overall, I like it! It’s defo the best place in the village
The apple crumble muffin was delicious and the coffee was really good. They have several vegan options too.
The staff are excellent and very personable. Friendly greeting, great service, and lovely conversation.
The food, baked goods, fruit juice and coffee are exceptional.
Really nice space with climbing photos, local artists work, and good music.
Can't recommend enough!
