Best KPortal Reviews

very nice cafe serving tea, coffee and food. price is pretty good. kids play area which is excellent.
Food good BUT they add 40p for a decaf coffee - a medium Americano was £3.60 - more than central London. Service was abysmal- waited ONE HOUR for our food after placing an order and when we went to ask where our order was, the very rude and sullen girl on the till told us we had to wait as we hadn't ordered quick enough. When it eventually arrived, it was practically thrown down on the table in front of us. There was no word of apology whatsoever. Never had such appalling rude service. I can assure you we did NOT leave a tip or will go there again.
Horrible dry cold bread with the world's driest sausage. Extortionate price on top of that. 6 quid for a depressing cold uncooked baguette. Will not be ever coming near this place again
Edit to your response: A colleague of mine offered to pick up breakfast, not myself, hence the review and not a call. I do not have the time to come back to your cafe from work. Looking at my photo, please tell me you're joking when you say the bread was "baked" fresh. I've seen skeletons less pale than your baguettes.
Nice cafe but lunchtime not relaxing as like having lunch in a creche.food takes extremely long time.just have to order long time before you want it.staff seem very nice.good to have local place to go.better with more tables and no creche.children could then sit at tables.
Really friendly staff, the playroom is really good and entertaining. Slightly higher price than other local cafes but it is worth it!
This is such a quiet and calm little oasis. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good too. The playroom for children was an unexpected but very welcome little surprise. This was our first visit but we will certainly be back.
Nice clean premises with a special, visible, enclosed room for children to play in (no food allowed). Wheelchair accessible. Lovely menu, 3 of us with very different tastes ate well for just over £10 each: a jacket/toasted sandwich/pancakes and a drink. Garnish was very fresh and the atmosphere busy but relaxed. We didn’t feel the need for a second course, but there were plenty of cakes on offer. Children’s menu available. Only downside was the number of cigarette butts outside on the pavement.
I visited the Clock Tower Cafe today and had a vegan afternoon tea for two. It was lovely, they'd really taken time to choose a delicious variety of sandwich fillings and included savoury tarts as well as the traditional (vegan) scones with jam and (vegan) cream and cake. Really lovely tea - tea pigs brand so you know it's good.
It's a child-friendly space too and even has a play room! So great if you've got little ones in tow.
